Winning The Game
Winning The Game
Each game of Evernight ends when one player owns one of each of the six Black Between region types.
The Black Between spells can only be cast on regions that you own.
You can only cast a Black Between if you do not already own one of that type.
The player who Owns the Black Betweens is Not necessarily the Winner, instead, the player with the Most Points Wins the game.
see Terrain Types, Black Betweens, Resources
Religion Matters
Players who have not yet chosen a religion, and players who swear allegiance to another player are not eligible to win (or finish in the top spots).

For example, if Player A had the most points but had not selected a religion, and Player B (who had the next most points) had selected a religion, then Player B would be the winner.
see Theologica, Spells, Points
Game Winners
Each game has a "purse" of experience that is awarded to the top players.

For a game with three winners, the top player receives 49% of the purse, the second place player gets 31%, and the third place player gets 20%.
However, this distribution will change based on the number of Winners for each particulare game.

Up to 12 players may share the purse.
Players who do receive a share of the purse are able to divide it up amongst themselves and their followers.
Bonuses
Players who finish the game alive (ie, they have at least 1 region) receive a Survival Bonus.

This bonus is typically 2 Experience, but it too can change from game to game.
Players of the same religion as the player who ended the game receive double the Survival Bonus.

The Double Survival Bonus rule does not apply to Team Games.

Title & Rank

Experience accumulates from game to game and is used to determine a player's Title and overall rank in the worlds of Evernight.
